Southern Highlands based artist Heath Nock presents his series Tablelands in Gallery 2.
This series of oil paintings is a mixture of landscapes, still life and surrealism. Oversized, warped or blurred objects play into the narrative of landscape in a deep, silent moment, posed and ready to burst into action.
With a love of traditional landscapes and 17th century still life, Nock has painted these works to capture a feeling of an area he lives in and loves.
